Days Inn Miami

We checked out on Jan 20th 2026 after barely sleeping, then drove about 50 miles down the highway before realizing we’d left an expensive device in the room. I called and asked staff to secure it so we could work out how to pick it up. She refused to go check, saying the room hadn’t even been cleaned yet. The device was stolen by the cleaners or someone else, and nobody ever called me. It was a simple request for help, and they didn’t bother. Pathetic.

Breakfast was mostly a letdown: you had to cook the frozen eggs and sausage yourself, the apples looked old, there was no juice, and the waffle batter had run out with nobody at the desk to ask for more. The towels were the thinnest I’ve ever had at a hotel. Our room smelled like a dirty dog, especially the chair. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I had to switch rooms because mine was unbearable. There were stains on the furniture, table, chair, and bedsheets, including marks that might have been blood or poo. I found at least three kinds of hair too: a short curly black one on the towels, a blonde one on top of the sheets, and a long black one tucked inside them. There was even a straw wrapper on the floor. The shower heads were green and moldy, so I waited until morning to shower, after sleeping among all that filth. Gross. My buddy’s separate room had tiny ants scattered across the walls and ceiling.

The bed was comfortable, and it was mostly quiet, but there wasn’t much else to like. There were ants in the room, blood on the sheets, a constantly running toilet, and weak air-conditioning. The parking lot was dirty with trash everywhere. At the desk, the staff member had their feet up and had to be called over to check me in.
