Parking was the biggest letdown for me. We left the car in a garage a few blocks away, then had a 25-minute walk to reach it. Maybe that's normal in a city, but I'm from the Space Coast and not used to that, and it took away from the stay. The view, though, was sensational at any hour. I could've spent the whole vacation on the balcony. The building also felt solidly put together, with furniture and appliances that didn't seem cheap or cut-rate. And when we hit a couple of snags, the rental agency responded quickly. Check-in was rough. The front desk couldn't check us in, so we were sent around the building to another service window in the shipping bay. We waited there for 20 or 30 minutes, which didn't fit the premium feel of the rest of the experience. I was willing to let that go and enjoy the rest. Coming from the Space Coast, I'm also inexperienced with cities, so this was a breathtaking experience for me.

The gym and pool were the best part, honestly. The lobby looked horrible, and that wasn't mentioned when I booked. Elevator maintenance caused 10-15 minute delays, and only one key fob was provided. When my wife got stuck, the lobby staff didn't try to help, even though they had taken security photos at the start. I asked to move checkout from 10 to 12 and was charged $50, while almost every Airbnb and hotel has allowed that for me.

Management didn't handle things well. After our first day, the elevators stopped working and we had to wait two hours to get inside. The security guards made the situation even more frustrating. A guard in a blue shirt yelled at my friend while she was on a call instead of politely asking her to move from the curb. Another seemed to let people he knew skip the line without checking.

Only four of the six lifts were working. It took literally 25 minutes to get to my room, and apparently it's been this way for months. Stay only if you're okay with that wait.

If I'm remembering right, is this where that 17-year-old was murdered by a lunatic? Poor guy was stabbed in his sleep, then pushed and fell from the 47th floor, more than 100 feet. May he rest in peace. This was four months ago. Be careful, everyone.
