Domio Downtown Miami

The rooms were beautiful, but the way the staff treated us left me feeling that they had a different agenda toward people of color. There were parties on two nearby floors, yet my group and I were the only ones accused of causing trouble. A Spanish-speaking woman, whose name I can't remember, kept bothering us. I heard her tell one of the guards who repeatedly came into our room, in Spanish, “watch them you know what they do.” At least two men entered our room without warning every day, and when we asked why, nobody gave us an answer. On top of that, I was charged twice for the security deposit and never got it back. That's only some of what my party dealt with. The hotel itself was wonderful, but the staff experience was the opposite.

The balcony view is so beautiful, and the place was neat and attractive. I loved it, felt really satisfied with my stay, and I'll be back.

First day ever in Miami, and it's just the start of a seven-day trip.

All the amenities are here, and it's easy to get to. Very close to the American Airlines Arena in Downtown Miami.
