The room was modern, clean, and had plenty of space for working, moving around, and storing my things. Kaleb and Carla at the front desk were welcoming and answered my questions with helpful suggestions for making the most of the area. I also requested an accommodation related to a chronic health condition, and Carla quickly worked out a solution that fully met my needs. I had an exceptional stay and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Miami area.

For my first trip to Florida, this was my first hotel in the area, and the stay itself was good and laid back. Food choices nearby were the hard part. Apart from the hotel breakfast, there aren’t many options for a good meal around there. I’m used to Queens, NY, where food is always available, so that was difficult to deal with.

The room’s condition was very poor: there was visible mold in the shower, standing water and someone else’s hair in the clogged sink, dust all over, including the lampshades, and stained carpet. The extra covers they brought smelled of cigarette smoke and looked stained too. After a full day of travel, I expected a clean, comfortable room. I called the front desk right away to ask for another, but was told one wouldn’t be available until the next day. The staff member seemed to have been asleep when I arrived, and the promised follow-up call still hasn’t come. This was frustrating and deeply disappointing. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this room didn’t meet even the minimum. I won’t stay here again and will pursue a refund through corporate.

I paid over $300 for one night and was extremely frustrated by the breakfast and service. It was supposed to run until 9:30, but we got there at 8:50 and everything was gone: juice, butter, cream cheese, potatoes, all of it. The woman working there was extremely rude when people asked about refills, saying “No” or “I’m not doing that again this morning.” It stayed empty, and at 9:21 her phone alarm went off; she kicked everyone out and shut the door. Nearby, there are a couple of gas stations and a Subway you can walk to. There were lots of broken things in the large, clean room, including the lamps and desk racks. You can hear planes, which is expected so close to the airport. What was less acceptable was the pool music blaring all night, never switched off. The pool area itself was nice and the hot tub was VERY hot. The pool deck was enjoyable.
