Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami Downtown/Brickell

Margie, Daya, and Maria made our week-plus visit feel perfect by going out of their way for us. The rooms were consistently clean, breakfast was ready and delicious, and the kitchen staff were very accommodating. Having laundry on site was a great bonus. The garage attendants were polite and respectful, and brought our vehicle around in seconds. Thank you, Hilton, for exceeding our expectations.

The rooms themselves were clean, spacious, and really nice, and customer service was okay. But check-in took forever, and the layout is frustrating: the entrance is in a garage, check-in is on level 2, and the elevator is extremely slow with one currently out of service. The location is also unpleasant, right in front of train tracks and a concrete wall. For the price, there are much nicer settings. The pool was closed, and that wasn't mentioned when we booked. We wish we'd stayed at Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon instead of trying to be closer to the cruise port.

The hotel is an easy walk from places to eat and Publix. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with a very nice bed and pillows, and breakfast was good. The only issue was that I didn't have hot water. I'd stay here again.

We had just one night before our cruise, and spent a lovely evening by the pool watching the trains pass as it got dark. Breakfast had lots of good choices, and the cruise port shuttle was a great deal at $15 per person. The rooms also seem suited to longer stays, with a cooktop, full-size fridge, dishwasher, and living area.
