InterContinental Miami by IHG

We stayed here before our cruise, and being able to walk to Bayfront Park and then Bayfront Marketplace made the location ideal. There are lots of fun shops and things for adults and kids there. The room was fantastic, and the hotel felt clean and classy. We loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Miami. After this visit, it’d be hard to choose somewhere else.

The staff are what really set this place apart. In my first day, Kerstin in reservations, Kay at the front desk, and a charming, energetic doorman each went out of their way to help. It seems like staff are trusted to make decisions and solve problems, and the focus on guest satisfaction really shows. The rooms are beautifully furnished with great art, the bathrooms are spacious, and there are plenty of pillows. Highly recommend.

We used the gym and were glad to see TechnoGym equipment, so I could earn points in our gym app. The rooms were welcoming, nicely equipped, and very clean. We had dinner along the Board Walk on Valentine’s Day, and the hotel is amazingly well located for going out. This was ahead of our first cruise, and we’re already booking here before our cruises in October and December. There’s a charge on our card that we don’t recognize, since we didn’t take any extras from the room. I’m sure they’ll explain it or sort it out.

The pool looked beautiful, with a great view and a nice bay-view bar, though it was too cold for us to lounge there. We booked a club-level room and enjoyed the breakfast, coffee machine, and evening cocktail hour. The room was VERY clean, the bedding felt like sleeping on a cloud, and I loved the automatic blackout curtains. Definitely coming back. No complaints.
