The house wasn't cleaned properly. The owner also tried to charge me for 21 days that I didn't owe, and I have receipts to prove it.

This place gets one star only because there's no zero-star option. The rooms, bathroom, kitchen, floors, and bedding were all filthy. There were roaches and bed bugs, and the locks don't work. The photos below show the condition. It's not wheelchair accessible, and I don't think it should be allowed to operate. The owner should be ashamed, and someone should contact the board of health department.

At $25 for a bunk, that's pretty much all you get. Check your sheets and pillowcase. Mine still had the last girl's chap stick in the pillowcase. There's no cooking area, not even outside, and it feels more like an old flop house than a real hostel. If you've been in jail or the military, it may bring back memories. The environment feels safe-ish enough.

I've stayed in lots of Miami hostels, and this one is close to the airport, historic Brown subs, the highway, downtown, and not far from wynwood. I live here and love the place now, though it took me a while to get used to it. There's no cooking, but there is a refrigerator. Lots of long-term clients give it a family feel. You can pay by the day, week, or month. Glenn, the property manager, keeps things orderly. The sheets are clean, and the kitchen and bathroom are always clean too. The price is great, but it fills up fast. BK CARTER ❤️

The price is the main advantage, along with the location if you're traveling to or from the airport. Otherwise, it was really unpleasant. There was a bad smell everywhere, and the bathroom was very dirty, with a tub full of hair. The kitchen had a microwave, but that was the only thing working, so making coffee wasn't even possible. Some people live there, so it felt more like a lodging house or shelter than a hostel. We slept in the car the night before, and that was much nicer.
