The front desk staff were friendly and attentive at both check-in and checkout. Breakfast was free and plentiful, and the area was clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean too, with bright white caulking around the tub. There were several things that need attention. The signage was confusing and made the place hard to find, and it looked like a Holiday Inn. There was mold above the A/C unit, and the carpeted stairs needed vacuuming, with dust and debris in every corner. The room carpet also needed a proper vacuum along the edges and corners, which looked long neglected. Our deadbolt didn't work. We let the staff know so they could fix it after our stay, and it seemed like a simple issue caused by sloppy installation. The upholstered dining bench was stained and needs cleaning. It's decent value, but a deep clean would make a big difference.

Neither TV worked, and the hot tub sprayed water everywhere. The place wasn't clean, there was barely any water pressure, and some towels were soiled. Comfort Suites had just bought it, so hopefully things improve. At least the manager gave us a $50 discount.

We had a great overnight birthday stay here. It was quiet, and both the property and rooms were clean. The hot water took a little while to get warm enough for a shower, but it did get hot eventually. We'd stay again.

We booked through Booking.com and got a call about five hours before arrival to say the elevator would be out of service. That wasn't a problem, so we kept the reservation and carried our bags up the stairs after getting our room key. But we'd booked a room with a spa tub, and the room we were given didn't have one. At the front desk, the receptionist said she couldn't do anything, even after we showed her the reservation, and told us to contact Booking.com. We did, and within five minutes they told us to go downstairs for a new key. The hotel's customer service left us unimpressed. The replacement room was only a little better. The TV by the spa tub had no reception, even after we plugged in the converter box. The shower looked like it had been installed 30 years ago and needed replacing, or whoever installed it didn't know what they were doing. The phone cord had been cut, and there was melted wax on the nightstand, which made me think the room hadn't been cleaned well between guests. When we filled the spa tub, the water came out yellow every time, all three attempts. It was an unpleasant stay in every way, and I wouldn't recommend this place.

The kids had a great time splashing in the pool, and our room had plenty of space with a layout that worked well for four. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were full size, and breakfast was good. Being right off the Mother Road was handy, too. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. A couple of small annoyances: a light on the wall kept flashing, maybe a motion sensor, and there was no fan setting to keep air circulating. Nothing major.
