Woodspring Suites Miami Southwest

The beds were my main problem. They're VERY small and uncomfortable if you need a little extra room to sleep. Parking was pretty good, with a large lot and plenty of space, though the single entrance and exit can make coming and going inconvenient. The location is okay, maybe 5/10, but being right by a police station made it feel busy and noisy at times. The elevator was slow and made unsettling noises going up, 4/10. The candy bowl was a nice touch, but hot cocoa should be available downstairs all the time.

My kids look forward to seeing Karel whenever we visit because he's so gracious and welcoming. He's helped us out many times, whether we needed another TV remote, towels, or extra chairs, and he always comes through to make our stay better. Come see Karel on your next stay!

I only booked here because I needed to be nearby and expected room service. Instead, rooms are cleaned just once every 14 days, and you have to pay extra for cleaning before then. They say towels can be replaced every other day, but there are no sheet changes, and the room service described in the listing doesn't happen. Finding that out after paying in full was ridiculous and frustrating. The AC unit stinks too. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Terrance, the manager, deserves a special thank you for being understanding and flexible about our stay. We enjoyed being here, and everyone was kind and friendly, always stopping to say hello when they saw us. The whole staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. God bless you all.
