SpringHill Suites Dayton South/Miamisburg

We asked to change rooms and the front desk said no, claiming the hotel was full. But their website showed plenty of rooms, including one available at 8 PM on May 13. The staff seemed to think too highly of themselves and wouldn't accommodate us. For Room 218, we expected more from a Marriott. The room smelled strongly of bleach and mold. The sink was cracked, the microwave was dirty and sticky, and the shower curtain was very dirty, brown, and yellowed. The pillow was dirty too, and the overall cleanliness was appalling.

We’ll be back in May2027. When the main thing I can complain about is that the energy-saving rooms are too blddy dark, you know it’s pretty much perfect. Just brilliant.

Tyler made the bridal shower meeting room booking feel easy and welcoming from the start. He seemed to care about making the event special, and his cheerful, helpful manner made a stressful day much smoother and more enjoyable. He even thought ahead and brought extra chairs before we asked. Whenever a little thing came up, he was ready to help. We really appreciated his fantastic service.

The place itself was nice, and the room was clean apart from long red hairs all over the sheets. The housekeeper we saw the next morning had long curly red hair, so I assume that's where they came from. Breakfast was mediocre at best, and the price felt a little high when we couldn't use the amenities. We were in town for a gymnastics competition. We chose this hotel because of the pool, but nobody told us it was closed when we booked.
