Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites-Milwaukee Airport by IHG

The parking situation was awful. The lot was completely filled with cars from the airport, so we had to use the very back lot and walk around the building to get inside. My girlfriend has a broken foot and is disabled, which made that especially difficult. On top of that, the elevator was out while we were there. We weren’t told about it before booking, and no discount was offered even though we had to carry our bags up to the third floor. The room itself was decent.

Shawn, the night manager, was outstanding. We ran into a problem with our corporate check-in, and he handled it extremely well. Shawn and the staff went above and beyond. I haven’t been this pleased with a hotel in a long time. Thank you.

I was here on business, and the elevator was broken for my entire stay. The room was decent, and the location worked perfectly for being near the airport. There’s a Culvers in the parking lot, with easy access to Layton Ave.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and arranging the airport shuttle was easy and convenient. The staff were very polite, but the room quality let things down. There were holes in the wall, apparently left from old artwork. Someone had worked on the door hinges several times, and there was a boot print on them. Water leaked from where the toilet met the wall, the shower looked dirty, and half the blackout curtains were missing. There’s just one light switch by the door, so if you arrive late, be ready to cross a partly dark room to find a lamp. There’s no carpet, which may make the floor easier to clean, but I didn’t expect that since the online pictures show carpet.
