Our room was clean, comfortable, and roomy enough for the whole family, and the staff made us feel welcome and helped with whatever we needed. The hotel had plenty for everyone, and they were especially accommodating with our children, which made the stay stress free. The showers were fabulous, with lots of hot water. We had a wonderful time at Blue Chip Casino Hotel and Spa with our kids. We wish we'd won some money, but you win some, you lose some. We love the blue chip, it's our favorite getaway.

CJ and Alexis, along with the catering staff, made renewing our vows here as stress free as they could. Whenever we had questions, they got back to us quickly, even on weekends. We had nothing but great service and highly recommend this venue for your next event. You won't regret it.

Parking was crowded and poorly laid out, with too few convenient handicap spaces, and getting in and out was frustrating. The casino itself was full of overwhelming smoke from the moment we walked in, so if you're sensitive to it, this place is a hard no. The gaming was dull and disappointing. The machines felt tight, and it seemed more like donating money than being entertained. We signed up several people for new Players Club cards and got no incentive at all, no free play or bonus, not even $10-$15 to try the machines. I've never been to a casino that gave absolutely nothing for signing up. There wasn't clear information posted about the benefits or rewards either. We came expecting a decent casino experience and left let down, with little reason to return when there are better options.

Payouts were decent, and it's a nice casino. But at noon on a busy Sunday there was only one person at the payout cage, so the line got long and cashing out took ages. I really wish Indiana would ban smoking in casinos.

Having our ceremony and reception at Blue Chip meant our out of town guests didn't have to figure out rides around an unfamiliar area, since everything was in one place. Cj and Alexis were wonderful through all the planning, even as my wife and I changed things; they kept finding ways to make it work. On the wedding day, Cj was still helping us right up to the last moment and was so excited as I walked down the aisle, it felt like a close friend was celebrating with us. Will, who I believe was the banquet manager, handled every detail so well. The food was delicious, and coworkers and friends kept talking about it afterward. A valet woman also noticed me getting stressed while we unloaded wedding things from our cars, and was so kind and encouraging. We felt cared for and happy the whole time. I can't recommend Blue Chip enough.
