Bridge Inn

The night before my wedding, I stayed there so we could get ready the next day. It was clean and the staff were friendly. When we accidentally locked the bathroom door in the middle of the night, they came and unlocked it. The next day they brought me flowers for the wedding day and Mother's Day. They really went above and beyond. Definitely recommend!

The walls and ceilings were so thin that I spent half the night awake listening to our upstairs neighbor vomit over and over. I had some of the worst sleep I've ever had here, partly because the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and noisy. The couch was a little old, and the small TV had some kind of watermark on it that we couldn't get rid of. We should've just stayed in the casino.

The shower was heavenly, easily the best part of my one night at the Bridge Inn. It was easy to find, check in with the code was simple, and I liked parking right in front of my door in the blue building on the first floor. The area seemed safe. I heard other guests above and next door, but it wasn't excessive or late, and was about what I'd expect. The bed was the downside. I found hair in it, and every time I moved it creaked and cracked. The mattress wasn't comfortable either.

The view over Trail Creek and the rotating bridge from the private deck made Queen 8 so worth it. It was clean and in great condition, with comfortable accommodations, and check in and out were easy. The kitchenette had nearly everything we could hope for. I would've liked plastic wrap or foil, paper towels for spills, and ice trays. The dinette table leaves, I think that's what they're called, wouldn't stay up to make the full circle, and I couldn't fit my legs under it. A small issue, but I hope they fix it. We also liked being near the seasonal restaurant. The location and view, along with everything else, make me want to stay longer next time. This hotel is enough of a destination for me, and the other Michigan City attractions are just bonuses. I'll definitely ask for Queen 8 again. Thanks!
