We drove four hours to find out our stay had been canceled because the people in the room decided to stay. They knew by 11am the room was occupied, but didn’t tell us until we arrived, even though they had all our contact details. We didn’t get even five hours’ notice, and there wasn’t another room nearby, so we had to drive four hours back home. The front desk guy threatened to call the cops when all we wanted was a refund, which he refused until we called booking. Booking was very unhappy with the hotel and hadn’t realized they were overbooking rooms. They could have told the other people the room had already been paid for and was taken for the night. Instead, we were left without a room. They take your money and sell the same room again, and you could show up with nowhere to stay. That should be illegal. Don’t book here. It was ridiculous and so unprofessional.

Priceline’s check-in policy said the deposit could be paid by credit card, but this hotel unexpectedly demanded cash. I don’t carry cash, and they wouldn’t let me check in. They then tried to deny my cancellation request after not following the policy. It feels like a scummy way to take money from customers without giving them a room. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I travel 300 days a year and have never run into this before.

I drove over 3 hours to get here, then the older man at the desk told me they had overbooked and my room wasn’t available. They couldn’t accommodate me or refund my $100, and I had to leave. I wasted a whole day driving and lost the money. Book somewhere else.

A nice, clean budget motel in a good location, better than I expected for the price. I loved the covered bridge mural above my bed, and Ron at the front desk was really helpful. I’d recommend it.

It was clean, and the staff were really friendly. This is a typical super 8, though, with few frills. It comes across more like a trucker’s hotel than a place geared toward families.
