The inn is in great shape, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night, but would return if we got the chance. They’ll celebrate 200 years in business next year. It may not be the best choice for people with mobility issues.

The restaurant inside the inn has an attractive atmosphere, good food, and good service. Shops, coffee shops, and eateries are all within walking distance, and the prices are reasonable. This was our second visit to town and stay at Middlebury Inn. It’s an old inn, but very well kept, with quaint, lovely rooms. We love it and hope to return next year. 🥰

We didn’t stay overnight, but we did meet here for a meal. The place felt cozy and lodge-like, and it looks like a nice spot to stay while in the area.

Run-down rooms and poor service for the high price at the Middlebury Inn. They leave sheets and towels outside your door and expect you to put them on yourself. You even have to empty your own trash.

The staff were the rudest I’ve ever dealt with. I booked because the online listing said pets were welcome, but when I arrived they said the hotel wasn’t pet friendly and refused to refund me. I feel like I was scammed out of $200. DO NOT STAY HERE.
