Atlantic Beach Hotel and Suites Newport

The ocean view through those huge windows was a real bonus, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious and nicely furnished, with a luxurious bathroom and lovely linens and towels. I enjoyed the coffee each morning, and the pool was relaxing. A nice place to stay, and I'd definitely come back.

The sundeck was perfect for sunrise, and the location made it easy to get around: First Beach is a three minute walk, with Second Beach and Newport's main shopping area close by too. The pool was great, though I wish it had been a bit warmer. Staff were nice, the rooms were clean, and the building smelled good. I loved the stay and would recommend it.

We were lucky to have a corner room, and the view was spectacular. The staff were great, and my wife and I loved the room. The beach is a minute's walk away, with lots of good restaurants nearby. One of the best places we've stayed on our coastal trip, and the price felt right too.

The room was clean, and I appreciated the hardwood floors, but the bed was so uncomfortable. There was an odd but bearable smell, and room service was excellent. At 2 in the morning, a man in the hallway was yelling and swearing on the phone. I eventually fell asleep, then woke up because of him and couldn't get back to sleep for another three hours. If that was you, please don't do that again. The location is good, just a few minutes from the beach. The pool looked nice, but I didn't use it. Parking was insane even in February: I drove around for 10 minutes waiting for someone to leave. They probably need another lot, especially for summer. The complimentary coffee was apparently really bad, though the water from the machine was good. They need a breakfast buffet. The hotel was okay overall.
