I probably won’t stay there again. I’ve visited a couple of times before and loved it, but when I checked in on 2-12-26, the person at the counter sounded annoyed, as if I were interrupting. They barked the details about the elevator and breakfast, and didn’t recognize me as a diamond member. The lobby wasn’t busy, and I was the only person there. The breakfast itself was good, and I had hot coffee in the morning. But the coffee was cold when I first arrived, the hot water was cold, and there were no Hot Chocolate packets. I don’t leave many reviews. If I don’t leave one, things were good. This is only my second bad Hampton/Hilton review in many years, and I’ve only left a couple of reviews when something seemed exceptional, too.

Ryan, the General Manager, made our stay feel like five-star treatment. He was welcoming and warm both on the phone and when we checked in, and greeted us with fresh tea and coffee so we felt at home right away. We’d requested extra pillows while booking, and he had them fluffed and ready when we arrived. The room was spacious and clean, the pillows were fluffy, and breakfast was included. Our dog loves the bed, too. Thanks to Ryan for making the stay so nice, and we highly recommend the place.

I travel for work every week and stay in different hotels. This has to be one of the dirtiest Hampton Inns I’ve been in. There was hair all over the room floor and the sheets under the supposedly “clean and fresh beds.” The comforter smelled like an armpit, so it clearly doesn’t get cleaned often. There were boogers wiped on the nightstands and stuff all over the bed’s headrest. Drive an extra ten minutes north to the Residence inn. You’ll be glad you did.

I was visiting family on vacation from Florida and stayed a few days in March, or maybe May, of 2025. It wasn’t bad at all. The room was decent, if nothing like a fancy five-star hotel, and clean enough. The mini fridge door was busted and took some fiddling to stay shut, so it never got very cold. We bring a big cooler full of stuff anyway, so that worked out. The woman at the desk was nice. I can’t remember her name, but I think she said she was a manager. Breakfast was better than I expected. The only downside was kids running back and forth really late at night, though that can happen at any hotel, so I can’t blame the hotel. It turned into a funny game of knocking back and forth.

I usually choose Hampton Inn without even checking reviews, but I wish I’d read them this time. The front desk staff were friendly, and breakfast was good. Still, returning to this place after visiting family each day for four nights was disappointing. At $130 a day, it was way overpriced. The hotel needs serious renovations or should close. Our ADA room was so packed with furniture that getting my wheelchair through was difficult. The roll-in shower was spacious, but the rust and caulking made it unpleasant. The bed wasn’t made right, the corners kept coming off, and there was a clothing label on the floor at check-in. Trash wasn’t emptied, and towels weren’t replaced unless the night desk staff or I did it. I found a Do Not Disturb sign on the door that I hadn’t put there, and I’m pretty sure housekeeping used it to avoid cleaning. Someone must have come into the room, because my wife’s travel makeup mirror went missing by checkout. We thought we might find it at home, but we didn’t. I should have listened to my wife when she wanted to leave for a nicer hotel. I gave Hilton this information, and they refunded my entire stay. That’s customer service.
