Hampton Inn Milan Tn

The rooms were clean and breakfast was delicious. I had a great experience overall. My one complaint is that the reservation system has been down for over a month, so you have to show up in person to book a room.

I had a comfortable stay and the service was good. The hotel was clean and fine for a Hampton Inn. My first room had neither a microwave nor a fridge, and since I needed to keep food cold I moved to a lower floor to get a room with a fridge. I found just one microwave, on the first floor by the elevator.

The breakfast was the one good part of our stay. My husband and I came to Milan for our granddaughter’s Allstar Softball team and booked the Hampton Inn, but we were really disappointed. The smell on the second floor was awful, and the hallway and room rugs smelled damp and musty. The floors were dirty, with roach motels tucked into the corners. That smell alone was horrendous. The hotel badly needs renovation, and I won’t stay there again.

I’ve been trying for weeks to book ahead, but the reservation system has been down since September, or possibly earlier. It marks dates such as July 14, 2026, 2027, and 2028 as unavailable, whether I search for one person or three. You can only get a room by walking in, even though the two-story Hampton Inn in Milan, Tenn has plenty of rooms for walk-ins. The front desk ladies are very sweet, but all they can tell me is to come in person. I’ve called Hilton corporate many times and spoken with several people in customer care, but nobody seems to care or fix it. I was told up to nine Hampton Inns have this problem, including Pulaski, Tenn. These hotels must be losing ALOT of money, though I guess the owners don’t care about their customers. It seems to be a Hilton reservation system issue affecting certain hotels. PLEASE, can someone help and fix this?
