I get that there's a 24-hour cancellation policy, and I know some companies won't make an exception for being sick. But the call log showed I was only two hours past the cutoff. If someone had explained that clearly, I might have made other arrangements. There's a huge wrestling tournament in town tonight, so I'm sure the room won't be hard to rent again. I called Thursday to cancel my Friday stay because I wasn't feeling well and was canceling the trip. The front desk woman said it was fine and canceled it. On Friday I got a text saying the room was ready, so I called to check. After I explained everything again, she put me on hold. A minute later the GM came on, gave me her name and title, and sounded a little snippy. I had to explain the situation for a third time. She said they wouldn't refund me because of the policy, whether I was sick or not, and added that “her boss would have her butt.” I love when GMs blame their boss. She offered reward points for another stay or to donate to charity. You're the boss in that role for a reason. Lead! Please train staff to explain the cutoff to customers. Poor communication and customer service. :(

We just needed somewhere clean and affordable to sleep while traveling through, and this hotel did the job. Nothing fancy, but breakfast was good.

After I contacted management, they did right by us and offered a free stay at any BW property. The manager I spoke with was kind and understanding. Being polite and explaining the problem can work out for everyone. The room was cheap and right off the interstate, but basic and dated. In the first five minutes I killed three flies, and there were a few little moths on the bed. The bathroom was clean, though one sheet had stains. Keep your expectations low and you should be fine.

The pool and hot tub were closed, which really disappointed us since they were the reason we booked this hotel. When we drive across Montana again, we’ve talked about staying in Billings instead of Miles City. The hotel was dated but clean, and the front desk people were nice. Breakfast was limited but enough for us: fresh scrambled eggs, biscuits, coffee, waffles, fruit, cereal, and muffins. It was on a main street, near a grill we like.

The pool was broken, and there was no refund. We were stuck at this outdated, sketchy hotel after promising the kids a place with a pool. They’d been looking forward to it all day. I wouldn't recommend staying here, and I wouldn't come back even if the pool worked like they advertise.
