Travelodge by Wyndham Miles City

The smell was awful and made both me and my fiancé sick. The floor was so sticky and gross that my feet literally stuck to it. The walls were covered in fingerprints, and none of the desk or nightstand surfaces were clean. It was the only hotel in town with a room, but I'd rather drive all night than stay there again.

We only booked because it was really late and really cheap. It gave us a place to sleep, but I don't think I'd return. The hospitality was great, and there was plenty of parking, with lots of places to eat and convenience stores within walking distance, open 24 hours. There was no pool or breakfast, and the beds were horrible. I slept upside down and felt like the blood rushed to my head all night. The towels and beds were clean, but there was mildew in the bathroom. Dirty-looking debris had collected in the floor corners behind the doors, and the walls were so crusty they looked like they hadn't been washed in years. I don't like speaking badly about a place, but I wouldn't stay again.

Gary was really accommodating during the brief overnight stay for my girlfriend and me. Since she's disabled, we need extra time to get ready in the morning. He let us check out as late as 1 p.m., and there was no issue even though we ran a little past that. Highly recommend this location.

I went across the street and paid $100 for a room because I don't like being lied to. We usually stay in another town when we're traveling through this part of Montana, but the advertised rate made us think we'd stay here this time. I called to ask about the price and was told it would be $50 plus tax, so we reserved a room. Two and a half hours later, when we arrived and I said I had a reservation, he raised the price to $75. We may as well have stayed where we normally do instead of driving later than usual for what we thought would be a better rate.
