A note for management: the flush handle in room 413 is missing its inside nut. That could let the tank flapper move freely instead of sticking open and wasting water. Shower pressure and temperature were good, and the mattress too.

We came back for another stay and met Jessica, the new front desk employee. She was so kind and helped us a lot. I can't thank her enough for the hospitality. Great stay, and we'll definitely be back!

I was without electricity for two days because of the local blizzard and statewide driving ban, and had my senior dog with me. Before leaving home, I'd called Comfort Inn to ask about pet-friendly rooms. At the hotel, a woman at the desk asked if she could help. I explained I'd called about a pet-friendly room, and she said they had none. When I reminded her I'd phoned, she answered, "AND". I said I'd been told they had rooms, then realized I'd called a different nearby Comfort Inn by mistake. I was new to the area and said that was my fault, then asked if she knew of any other pet-friendly hotels. She simply said, "NO". Given the circumstances, I expected some compassion and customer service, but got none from the moment I walked in. I would never recommend this hotel if that same person is working. It reflects terribly on the property and its service.

Cold breakfast, soggy cereal, and just one pillow on each bed. The pool had mold and the lights kept flickering. The hotel smelled like awful old fish food and something really nasty.

The lobby and dining area were kept clean, and I liked that our room had no carpet. It also had a dishwasher and counter, though we didn't use them, plus a mini fridge for water bottles and a full fridge/freezer for food. Breakfast was good, with hot options. The pool area was clean and pleasant, but they could have kept more towels available. On the downside, the staff weren't rude, just not friendly. The room smelled awful when we arrived, like an old cooler that hadn't been cleaned. Maybe it was the dishwasher drain or one of the fridges. I bought a moisture odor remover bag and clipped a car air freshener to the AC vent, and it took a day and a half for the smell to go away. The floor looked clean but left our socks dirty. Housekeeping left carts in the middle of the hallway, with bags and mop handles sticking out, and didn't help even when we struggled to get past with our hands full. The one time I left the do not disturb sign up, staff entered anyway. That's a deal breaker for me.
