There are plenty of places nearby, including Target, a pizza shop, other food spots, and gas stations, and other hotels are close too. I’d choose one of those instead. This hotel felt incredibly rundown to me, and I’m not usually one to complain. Our patio door opened straight to the parking lot and was unlocked when we arrived. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly: there was a Skittle in plain sight on the carpet, cobwebs on the bathroom walls, no extra toilet paper, and only one washcloth for four of us. The gym was cramped, with two treadmills and a stair climber squeezed together. Its ceiling had water damage and missing tiles. The pool didn’t look clean, the hot tub is gone, and part of the outdoor patio by the fireplace was blocked off with caution tape. Breakfast isn’t included. There was only a price list on the counter, with nobody in the kitchen area. I absolutely wouldn’t stay here again.

A grimy, moldy bathroom, a broken elevator, an out-of-order downstairs bathroom, a broken lobby TV and ATM, and a closed bar. People were smoking weed in rooms, while staff stared at guests in the lobby as if trying to make them leave. The employees were nasty for no reason. This place is a dump, and the reviews from other guests say enough about how awful the experience was.

Noise was a problem throughout the stay, and when I called the front desk they said they couldn’t do anything. Getting basic things like towels was a hassle because there wasn’t proper room service. Then, nearly a week after I left, they tried to charge my card another $150 without explaining why. The rate was another mess. I booked through a room block and later found that booking directly would’ve been cheaper. The discounted rate I was initially quoted was apparently their mistake. I called ahead to confirm it, was told it was good to go, but at check-in they wouldn’t honor it. Canceling then would’ve cost me $200, so I felt I had no real choice but to stay. This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed, and plenty of other guests seemed to have similar complaints. I wouldn’t recommend it, and I won’t be back.

The staff were friendly enough, but I was there maybe 20 minutes before leaving. The stay was nonrefundable, yet I’d never left a place so quickly. It felt like walking through a horror movie: the halls smelled bad, and the whole hotel was dark and dingy. My room was just as dirty, with a large spider on the wall and a suspicious amount of black scuff marks and dirt. I felt unsafe and ended up sleeping in my car in a parking lot that felt safer. I don’t know if I was in some alternate universe compared with guests who said the rooms were clean and renovated.
