Travelodge by Wyndham Milford

The room and sheets were clean, and the slow WiFi did work. Beyond that, the stay was rough. The front desk woman just stared when I said hello, then took her time finding me a room. Once I booked, she didn't explain the WiFi or hotel amenities. She seemed to hate her job and made it clear she didn't want customers. Hot water in the shower came and went, and even when it worked it took a few minutes to warm up. The halls smelled, and the AC was loud and set to a freezing 62 fahrenheit, so I had to turn on the heater. Unless you have nowhere else to stay for one night, avoid it. If you're driving by, there are plenty of free BLM land and campgrounds where you'd have a better time. I'll never stay at another Travelodge.

I had to go into the office three separate times in one day before I could speak to the right person. Staff seemed untrained and had no self respect. One woman told me to come back at 6:30 to talk to the owner. I returned, only to find they'd booked my room to someone else, even though I'd told them from the start I planned to stay for a full year. They treated me like absolute crap. I'd recommend Hudson hotel instead. It may not look the nicest, but the people there know what they're doing and will work with you. I wish I could give this place a negative review. There is also a bunker in the basement of the west building.

Check-in was smooth, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant is also right in the parking lot, which is convenient.

We were exhausted and it was late, with the nearest motel 90 miles away, so we stayed. There was mold on the wall above the shower. When we moved a table closer to the bed, we found trash behind it. It wasn't clean.
