Emberglow Outdoor Resort

Seeing the stars through the skylight after turning off the lights was such an unexpected treat. The campground is far enough from city lights for a really clear night sky. We stayed in the smaller yurt after taking part in the Amazing Race Scavenger Hunt, and had a BLAST!! It was spacious and clean, a unique way to Glamp, and we appreciated having an indoor bathroom and heat/air. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I had questions before our visit. We’d definitely recommend Emberglow Campground. You won’t regret it!

We had a group of 9 and site #86 gave us plenty of room to gather without bothering the people around us. Having our own kitchen hut was great, too. We loved our site at Emberglow. We came wanting to support the WNC area, and were glad to visit the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock area. The devastation is still very present, but there’s a lot of hope and faith, and the area is recovering.

We stayed in our RV at a full hookup site, while our adult kids tent camped in the primitive sites. The campground has pretty much everything: a nice pool, pickle ball courts, a well stocked camp store, and a super clean, nice bath house. Excellent campground.

We were surprised by how good the water pressure was. We’ve been camping for 2 years, and our RV shower usually just trickles, but not here. We had a wonderful weekend in our RV on the beautiful, well maintained grounds, with plenty of activities for kids and adults. We’ll be back!
