Antebellum Inn

After a tiring motorcycle trip, the hostess welcomed us in and made us feel at home right away. We thought the Judges room was the best one. There’s a pool and some rockers where you can sit and relax, too. Great neighborhood, great location, and such lovely people. One of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in!

The house and grounds are kept beautifully, and it’s in a handy spot for walking or biking to downtown attractions. I was there for a friend’s wedding, and the hosts looked after everyone who attended. They were involved and accommodating, making sure we had what we needed.

Lisa, the inn keeper, made me feel so welcome. This home is lovely, and I noticed all the little things you take care of for guests. Everything was spotless and so well kept. I’ll be back.

The beds were the standout for me, huge and unbelievably soft, and the rooms have tasteful historic touches. You can have a quiet, private visit or spend time around other guests, with breakfast and a daily wine and cheese hour. The walls do a good job of keeping noise out, too. Antebellum Inn has rooms in different sizes, so it can work for all sorts of travelers. The shared spaces are cared for, with complimentary drinks, big screen TVs, and bathrooms that have been modernized. For a visit to Milledgeville and nearby places, the location is convenient and the accommodations are comfortable. It also has a bit of Southern charm. The hospitality and service brought to mind what people used to value about the Old South. I’d recommend Antebellum Inn to anyone looking for a high quality B&B at a reasonable price. To me, it shows the South at its best.
