Americas Best Value Inn Milpitas Silicone Valley

Right on Main Street and just up the road from Great Mall, so the location worked well for my vacation. The room smelled new, had nice wood floors, and was spotlessly clean. It felt peaceful inside, and this place covers a lot of the basics I look for when staying in the valley.

The floor had foam padding instead of carpet, and it was a pretty unpleasant stay. The showers weren't clean, and for two queen beds they gave us just one face towel and two bath towels. Even the soap came in dispensers instead of bars. It all felt very cheap.

The newly renovated room had hardwood floors, and the price felt like good value. It's a great location for a visit to the valley, so I'd recommend staying here if you want to be well placed.

We were visiting family in town when we found drugs in the room. I went to the front desk, but they insisted we were lying and were rude about it. Their only offer was a $20 discount, even though my toddler could have grabbed the dangerous substance if I hadn't spotted it first. The floor also felt sticky, and getting clean towels took repeated effort. I called the desk three times, then had to ask a housekeeper myself.
