Hampton Inn by Hilton Milwaukee Northwest

This has become my favorite place for a little time away, with family or as a couple. I’ve never had a problem checking in, during a stay, or at checkout. The front desk clerks are amazing, professional, and friendly. It’s clean and smells good, the breakfast is great, and the pool area is clean. The lobby feels welcoming, too. If something comes up, they jump in and try to fix it. As a Hilton member, I’m always more than satisfied with the hotel and its staff. Keep up the good work, y’all. 😁

I travel for work, and the night front desk staff member, TIM, was horrible. I prefer the top floor, and the hotel had rooms available there, but he flat-out refused to put me on one. I’m a silver Hilton member and had to beg for water. During my three days there, I ran out of coffee, and this tim boy didn’t want to give me more room coffee. Someone should get him customer service training before his next shift and interactions with customers. Please help him serve us better.

Our room was dirty, especially the bathroom and tub, and it smelled like weed. The rooms were tiny and didn’t look like the online booking pictures. The bathroom had a sliding barn door with no way to lock it. There was also loud music and screaming from some very rowdy neighbors. I called the front desk around midnight, but they kept making noise all night until we checked out the next morning. The music was so loud it made our walls vibrate. I also had no idea there was a $250 deposit when I booked. The desk clerk said it would be refunded right at checkout, but I found out it could take up to seven days. I’m down to $10 in my bank account until then. One of the worst hotels I’ve had to stay at. EDIT: From their response, they really couldn’t have cared less about guest comfort lol. The walls and the door between our rooms were shaking for over 12 hours. They could have kicked out the noisy group or at least offered us a room farther away. Definitely never staying at a Hampton again.

The location’s great, right across from Silk Platinum, and I’d come back. Our group found the staff friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean with tasteful furnishings and decor. The fitness center was well maintained and had a good selection of equipment. I also enjoyed the spa. After a swim, the whirlpool’s warm water and temperature were just right for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and nutritious, with plenty of options.
