Relax Inn Mineral Wells

The mattress was really comfortable, even with my bad back, and I slept well. Bedding was clean and comfy, and the shower had plenty of hot water right away. For the price, it felt perfect. Staff are friendly, parking is good and well lit, and the room had good AC, a refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, iron, DirecTv, and phone. The ice machine worked every time, and the bucket of ice I let thaw was perfectly clean. The pool was being worked on, but I wouldn't have used it anyway. Some things could be improved, mostly cosmetic. Looking forward to staying again. RM 215.

An older place, but clean and comfortable, with a very good price and nice, courteous staff. Everything is easy to get to from here, with restaurants within walking distance and a dollar store down the street. No complaints, and I'd recommend it to anyone traveling through. Just keep in mind there isn't coffee in the room.

The rooms were disgusting and smelled like a bathroom, the staff were rude, and they charged unnecessary fees. There were stains all over the bedsheets and burn holes in the shower curtain. I could go on. Beware, they may charge ridiculous fees if your room isn't perfect when you check out. Worst hotel experience I've ever had.

My husband says this is one of the grossest, nastiest hotels he's ever stayed in. His room was filthy, with burn marks on the curtains. The bed was very hard, the tub was dirty and had hairs in it, and there was something on top of the toilet. The pool was cloudy and gross too. When I called to raise these issues, the front desk had an awful attitude. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
