Four Seasons Minneapolis Hotel

The staff made our five nights at the Four Seasons in downtown Minneapolis feel special. They were accommodating with every request, and surprised my wife one afternoon by bringing red roses in a vase to our room while I was at the pool. The bed and bedding were the most comfortable I've slept in. The robes were a little rough and crusty, though, my one small complaint. We had a great stadium view. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the espresso martini that started my day, and the oysters were among the best I've tasted. I also liked the option to send postcards from the hotel and wrote seven to friends and family. The whole visit was an amazing five-star experience, and I'll choose a Four Seasons from now on.

The service is what stood out to me when I photographed a wedding at the Four Seasons in Minneapolis. Everyone I met was kind, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy, which made the place feel welcoming. The hotel has the luxury and attentive service you'd expect, and it's in the middle of downtown, near great food, art, parks, and a gorgeous rooftop with city views. It's a wonderful wedding or event location. I can't wait to photograph there again.

Nothing about the Four Seasons in Minneapolis feels luxurious to me. It seems like one more overpriced hotel in a market full of them. If you want a real luxury hotel with suites that feel like suites, consider a Sofitel Hotel. There aren't any in Minneapolis, unfortunately, but there are Sofitel hotels in most other large U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C.

I photographed an elopement at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis and had a great experience. They let us take photos throughout the hotel, and the team was very helpful and accommodating. The venue also has lovely city views and a distinctive Minnesota cabin dining experience.
