W Minneapolis - The Foshay

The place was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. I had a memorable, relaxing stay with my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The valet parking was quick and friendly. Aaron helped with our luggage and was professional and welcoming, and Ikah at the front desk was kind and helpful and made check-in easy. We also had a great time at Prohibition Bar and the Living Room Bar at W Minneapolis, both had a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it and will be back!

The front desk handled our room change professionally after a constant, loud dripping noise in our first room got to us. The receptionist said other guests had run into it too, so it sounds like a known issue. After switching rooms, everything went smoothly. We stayed in a King Deluxe at W Minneapolis – The Foshay and liked the mix of historic character and modern W-brand style. It felt upscale and thoughtfully designed. The main-floor bar seems to turn into some kind of nightclub on weekends, and if you're into the supernatural, the Prohibition bar is supposedly haunted by Mr Foshay himself. For a luxury hotel, the price was good. Even on a weekend with a Vikings game, our king room was under $200. Parking was easy too: the ramp across the street charged $17 for 10 hours, so we could skip valet and save on extra fees without giving up convenience. There's a lot to like here: style, downtown location, value, and nearby parking, though some rooms may have noise issues. It's beautiful and doesn't feel overpriced. I'd recommend it for couples, not families, and would stay again.

We stay at the W every winter as a tradition, and the supreme suite is just right for the four of us. Rosita was an absolute ANGEL. She made such an impact on us with her warm presence that we'll never forget her. I've never had better hospitality service. She clearly belongs in hospitality, and I could picture her running her own hotel or resort someday. She sets the bar high and goes above and beyond.

Rosita (aka Rosa) made my stay at the W Minneapolis, The Foshay feel personal and thoughtful. She was warm, attentive, and wonderful with every room service request, never making anything feel rushed or transactional. Her kindness and professionalism made a real difference, and she truly embodies exceptional hospitality. Thank you, Rosita, for making the stay unforgettable. If every guest interaction were like hers, room service everywhere would have a much higher bar. Schneider Family
