If you need fresh air, you're out of luck because the windows don't open. I was told it was for guest safety, which makes me wonder whether the hundreds of other hotels I've stayed in are all unsafe. Snowmobilers, be aware: there's not enough parking, and you'll be stressed trying to figure out where to put your trailer. Several guys had to drive their trailers down to The Waters Hotel to park.

At 11:30 pm on Friday, we arrived at our area's VRBO to find it uninhabitable because of contaminated water and mouse poop. We called Kristen, the GM, and her staff immediately helped our group get a couple of rooms while we rearranged the trip. They were near or at capacity but moved things around and made it work. That ultimately salvaged our vacation in the area. Kristen understands customer service, which is rare. Thank you, BWP, Kristen & Team!

We checked in and found the room at 62 degrees, with the air conditioning on in Wisconsin in late October. We had to leave and give it time to warm up. They'd asked when we'd arrive, so they should have turned on the heat beforehand and made the room comfortable.

I enjoyed my room. It had a Keurig, which is always a plus since I bring my own pods and creamer. I was on the 3rd floor, facing the front, and it was really nice with the Christmas decorations.

The room was nice and clean, and the pillows were great. Breakfast choices were just okay. The best part is that it's right across the street from a very nice park, with plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance.
