Clarion Pointe Madison Huntsville

We reserved at the Clarion ahead of time and were impressed by how clean the hotel was as soon as we walked in. Victor gave us a warm greeting and treated us courteously, which we appreciated. The one surprise was a train at 2.22am. Even so, it was a great night, and we'll be back several times this year since we've joined a wine club we'll visit often. I would never recommend this place. The front desk receptionist harassed my family because there were five people in a room. She then called the police on my mom and falsely said my young brother had a gun. That was a reckless, dangerous lie that could have led to a serious tragedy. One officer told my mom this wasn't the first time she'd called them on guests without cause. This behavior is unacceptable and shows a lack of professionalism and judgment. No one should be treated like this. Shame on the establishment for allowing it. Edit Response: Your little feedback didn't acknowledge whether you called the police and accused him of having a gun. That alone tells me you're LYING. Plus, two separate rooms were purchased for a “Big Family,” moron. Who does that? Inconsiderate people like you, apparently. Thankyaaa

Take photos of everything if you book here. The hotel is nice, but I was charged over a mistake they made, then told I had stolen items. The general manager is a liar. I work in a field where employees are known to pencil whip a checklist. I checked the room before going to sleep, but didn't think I needed to count the towels. They also said pillows and sheets were stained and that I'd damaged the headboard. I don't see how a 130lb person could break a headboard just by sleeping in the bed. I won't be back. Starla claims to be the owner.

The front desk is awful on the day shift. They took a $50 deposit and didn't return it, and couldn't tell me when it had been sent back. When I asked for information, I was told I was being rude. I wouldn't stay again. The room wasn't that great either, and breakfast was awful, a waste of money. Don't stay here.
