We like coming back for the suite layout: two bedrooms, a middle room with a pullout couch, and a decent kitchen. The rest of the hotel is a bit run down, though, and the room had a bit of a smell.

Mainstay Madison airport works well for a comfortable stop while traveling through Madison. The room was clean and there was continental breakfast. If you don't need the extras and amenities of an upscale place, it offers quality lodging.

Good place for the price, and the manager was super cool. I asked about that bug review, and he let me see the room. The same review appears on more than one hotel site, so it seemed like a scam. Everything you need is here.

The room was a good size, and for a longer stay I liked having a kitchenette with a full-size fridge so I could cook in the room. The hotel also has a pool and exercise room, though I didn't use either this time. Staff at the desk were friendly and helpful, and it smelled clean as soon as I walked in. Breakfast had both hot and cold options, a nice bonus. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would come back.

The room was much cleaner than we expected, and having a full fridge, stove, and dishwasher was great. If we'd known all that was there, we might not have gone out to eat, lol. There are also plenty of nice restaurants and stores nearby. I'd give it five stars if the AC unit didn't keep making that loud, horrible noise.
