Northwoods Inn & Suites

The front desk guy was really helpful and managed to get my big truck and trailer parked. The location's nice too, near a good restaurant and gas station. The room was awful. It smelled bad, and the floor and wall were dirty and dusty. Every pillow had nasty yellow stains, and so did the towels. The AC/heater unit looked like it was about to fall out of the wall. I nearly slept in my truck's back seat. The shower was tiny, with the curtain against me the whole time. I'd try one of the other places in town if you can. The pictures don't show what it's like now.

We had no issues during our stay, and there were tons of TV channels to choose from. It's in a perfect spot for a nice weekend, with an amazing Mexican place right beside the motel that we could walk to. The man at the front desk was so nice to talk to, and this is the cleanest motel I've ever stayed in. 10/10.

An older place, but the room was clean and the location was handy for snowmobiling. Easy to find and a great price.

Worst experience ever. We'd driven more than four hours, and when we checked in, we both wanted to turn around and go home. The pictures are misleading. The bathroom was very small, with the sinks outside it, and the place wasn't very clean. The mattress was terrible, and there wasn't even a soda machine. If you're working on an out-of-town road crew, you can find somewhere better. Never again.
