The Waters Of Minocqua

The pools were so nice and warm, especially the toddler pool, and that made it worth every penny. We’ll be back, including for the outdoor hot tub. The room was good, though the bathrooms were oddly small. Some of the service was great, with a few things that could be better. Hopefully things improve once the renovations are done.

Breakfast was very nice, and someone kept it orderly and well stocked. The room was clean and very nice, though noise from the hall carried in even at 10pm. Getting into the building was difficult: we had to cross a substantial puddle or climb over snow. I reported it on the first day, but nothing happened until two days later, when the water was finally drained. The TV remote didn’t work, and the room’s instruction card was for a different remote. Talking with a woman at the front desk didn’t really fix it.

Ray at the front desk was so personable and made the booking and party go smoothly. We celebrated my granddaughter’s 10th birthday with an overnight stay, and her little friends had a blast on the slides and in the indoor/outdoor pool area. The game room kept them busy until some girls were picked up. The rest of us slept comfortably in a suite with 2 queen beds and a private terrace. We’re lucky to have this place close to home, and we’ll be back. Thank you!

We had a good time and were glad to relax in the hot tub, since the weather didn’t give us much time on the snowmobiling trails. Everything was as advertised. The pool area cantina wasn’t open on Saturday, and there weren’t enough staff to handle the Pub crowd. I’ll be back next year.
