The staff were very sweet, and I appreciated their help. But both rooms we tried smelled strongly of cigarettes, so we canceled and moved to the Hilton garden inn, where we've stayed before and had a great experience. The grounds were a mess, our room looked out over a Burger King, and you wouldn't even know there was a river nearby. Self parking cost $20.

The location is excellent, but I can't say the same for the rest of the property. We're staying here during a multi-day road trip, and the hotel is wrapping up a renovation. That doesn't excuse the neglected grounds. Self parking costs $20 a day, and you park among weeds and untended landscaping. Coming and going, there's a rancid pot smell in the air. It's disgusting. For the price, I can't recommend this place.

The river view was perfect, and the pillows were seriously the best. Some amenities weren't available because of construction. My main complaint is the $20 parking charge, which felt inappropriate after paying a premium for the stay.

I was looking forward to staying here after hearing good things, but the place has clearly changed. I paid over $1200 for three nights and felt ripped off. The lobby was under construction, with work noise starting before 7 am. The grounds were completely neglected, landscaping overgrown with weeds, and there were no clear pet areas or signs. Every morning, the area outside our entrance smelled of pot, and we saw drug use around the perimeter. This is nowhere near Hilton standards, and I can't recommend it. We'll take our complaint further with Hilton. After we raised the issues with management, they credited us $54 on a bill of almost $1200. Decide for yourself if this is the kind of place you want to stay.
