We could see deer grazing on the grass in the spacious backyard from our window. The mansion has beautiful details, from Murano glass to hand-carved wood. Our Garden Room was just right, and the mattress and pillows were incredibly plush and cozy. It felt like the room had been made for us, unlike the feeling of being one of thousands at a chain hotel. We had our car and were only a short drive from everything we wanted to see. The Breakfast Club across the street became our favorite morning stop. We love coming to Missoula for concerts and getaways and will stay here again. Why choose a large hotel when this place is such a treat?

The Gibson Mansion is quiet and serene, with a great location about five minutes from the heart of downtown. The rooms are simple but spacious, and we couldn't have slept better. Managers are kind, very hospitable, and easy to reach. There are plenty of spots to sit and work remotely while enjoying the mansion's charm and elegance. It has all the amenities you'd want, including Lucky Charms on tap! Honestly, this is the best place my wife and I have stayed in Missoula, and we're already looking forward to coming back.

I loved staying at The Gibson Mansion. It felt like stepping back in time, yet everything was clean and quaint. My one change would be to rent a car, since you can't walk to town and the road by the hotel is quite busy. 10/10, and if I return to Missoula, I'll definitely try to stay here again.

After being on the Lochsa River, my partner and I arrived in Missoula late and really needed somewhere safe. We stayed here last year too, and I called around 11:00pm without knowing if anyone would answer. Bryson (?) picked up right away and had a room ready for me in under 10 minutes. We slept so well, and were grateful for the coffee and snacks in the morning.

A cute, pet-friendly place with a courtyard, clean rooms, and lots of character. There were plenty of complimentary snacks at the breakfast bar, plus breakfast vouchers for across the street. Really cute for the price.
