The guy at the front desk was nice, which was the one good part. I don't know if my room was especially bad because I had a dog, or if they're all in rough shape. It smelled musty and was loud. The bathroom looked unclean enough that I wore flip-flops in the shower, and there were stains on the bed. Someone had left a gross, crumpled tissue stuck in the door's peephole. The pool and supposed hot tub were closed because it was too cold, even though it was only kind of rainy and there wasn't a cover anyway. A hot tub dip might have warmed people up, but after seeing the room, I wasn't sure I'd trust it to be clean. Good luck!

The whole place felt old and run-down, and I won't stay here again or recommend it to family. In room 229, which cost $75 a night, nothing had been cleaned, and the toilet kept running until I fixed it. The key cards never worked on the first try, so I had to walk back to the office. I went down for waffles at 9:15 a.m. and they had already put them away. Room 209 was okay, but its bathroom sink looked like it was about to fall off the wall. The plastic was still on the bedside light fixtures, which seems like a serious fire hazard. I also felt like they made up the room price based on how you look.

At over $80 a night, this was a pretty sorry stay. If it had been around $50, I might have expected and accepted these issues. The room looked way out of date, right down to the CRT television. The shower dripped all night, and when we used it, water sprayed onto the wall, ran across the floor, and went out the door. The sink splashed water everywhere. There was no fridge, and the iron was missing from its wall bracket. The door didn't shut properly, so outside sounds, especially traffic, came through clearly. The AC kept swinging from too cold to too hot instead of holding one temperature. Breakfast was disappointing too, despite the staff working hard.

I won't come back, and I wouldn't tell anyone to spend their money here. The room was dirty: dust covered the headboard, mirror, and AC/heater, and the window ledges looked like they hadn't been cleaned. I had to plug in one of the lamps myself. In the bathroom, one sink had no running water, the shower took forever to heat up, and the working sink in the sleeping area had no drain plug. The room keys didn't always work, and worse, my key card could open other people's doors. That felt like a real lack of room security. The front desk staff weren't helpful. When we checked in, the clerk seemed unwilling to make any effort to assist us.
