Thunderbird Motel

I work, but motels cost more than I earn in a week, and without the room my family will be homeless. I have a five-year-old, so I don’t understand why the owner wouldn’t take us in. The motel has had a lot of unsavory guests living there in the past, which makes this even harder to understand. More than a week ago, I called and asked about a room for my family and our two cats. Jimmy, the owner, was very nice on the phone. He took a reservation and said room 109 was fine for us because its carpet needed replacing after the last people damaged it. Since then, I’ve stopped by almost every day and called again and again, sometimes six times a day, trying to reach Wendy about weekly rates. I was repeatedly told she wasn’t there or was very busy. Today I asked Jimmy to have her call me, and he said, “Oh, she won’t do that.” Thank you, Jimmy. May you reap what you sow.

The people staying there are sweet, but the owner and his wife are the absolute worst. I’ve stayed at this place many times over the years for visits and vacations, hoping it would improve, but it never did. On my latest trip last week, the owner kept banging on my door and accusing me of smoking MJ. I’ve never smoked it in my life, but he kept insisting it was coming through my vent. Apparently, he does this to a few other people there too. He also tries to set a curfew for guests. We’ve overheard him being homophobic and racist as well. That was my last time going anywhere near this place.

Jim is really kind, and the place is amazing. The rooms are good, and we loved the huge TV in mine. The pool and hot tub are always kept at just the right temperature.

The family owners put so much love into serving people in Missoula, Montana. They work hard to keep customers happy and wanting to come back just to chat with them. The customer service is beautiful, and this is the top motel cleaner in the business, the best place to stay! XOXOXOXO.
