Big Horn Lodge

Even though it wasn't peak season, they treated me like their most important guest. The room's rustic look and feel was lovely, the beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The towels looked brand new. I felt like family. Thanks to everyone who looked after us over Christmas!

I enjoyed my stay enough to add a few extra days and explore the local sights. The staff were friendly, the location in town was handy, and the attached restaurant had a good menu. The retro rooms have pine paneling, plenty of space, and are well kept.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we found the place surprisingly quiet at night even though it's right on Hwy 191. Rates were reasonable, several places to eat were within walking distance, and it was easy to get to Arches, Canyonlands, and Dead Horse Point. Friends recommended Big Horn Lodge, and it was a good base for our couple of nights exploring. A couple of things to know: after going out for dinner or late-night stargazing, you might not find a space in the lot and may have to park on the street. In our room, the frosted window over the door had no covering, so bring a sleep mask if you like a dark room.

The location was really good, and the receptionist was so kind. But I slept badly because someone upstairs walked or ran around all night. The floors are wood, so even small noises carry easily into the room. I'd suggest avoiding a downstairs room.
