Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Moab

The staff were terrific, friendly, and energetic, and the Jacuzzis were amazing. The room was another story. It felt like the most run-down Marriott I've stayed in, more like a cheap Motel 6. The carpet had a nasty, funny smell when we arrived, as if it had been cleaned with dirty water, and the whole floor smelled of cigarettes when we got off the elevator. We were just passing through, so we put up with it for the night and left. The walls and room reminded me of a cheap motel, not a Marriott experience. I'd wear socks or slippers in there, since I wouldn't want to risk getting a staph infection. They might as well call it Motel 6.

For the past few years, staying here has been part of our family's Winter Solstice tradition. The kids love the pools and hot tubs that are open all year, and it's great having a full breakfast buffet included. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The basketball court is a fun extra. We love coming here, thanks!

A really cool property, tucked just north of town by the river and convenient to the trails and parks. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the service was excellent. Richard was a superstar. I'll definitely stay again.

The pools were excellent, and the rooms were spacious with great bathrooms. Richard, the hotel attendant, made the stay especially good. He helped me feel at home, and I enjoyed chatting with him about the hotel. Two thumbs up for Richard, and I really enjoyed my stay.
