La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Moab

The breakfast room is small and got crowded around 6:30 a.m. when everyone was hurrying to reach the park early, especially with large tour groups. Aside from that, I liked staying a little south of downtown where it was quieter, with restaurants nearby and a nice grocery store across the road for provisions. The room was enormous, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful, and after a week on the road we really appreciated being able to use the washer and dryer. It was a great place to rest after hiking in Arches National Park, and I'd stay again.

The rooms at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Moab have been nicely renovated, with comfortable beds, fresh decor, useful amenities, and everything clean and working. I also liked the free all-you-can-eat continental breakfast. The outdoor pool and hot tub are set at the far end of the property, away from the road. It's on the south end of town, with several restaurants a few miles away, free parking, and easy access to Arches and other places. This is a comfortable, clean place to sleep if you're watching your budget. There are fancier hotels in Moab, but I was out exploring from sunrise to sunset and didn't need facilities I wouldn't use. I'd stay here again.

The rooms are large and fairly clean, and breakfast was okay. They had potatoes and coffee I could actually drink, which was better than our last hotel. We found two cockroaches in the room. The doors are a little hard to shut all the way, and the walls are thin. It's on the edge of town, so downtown restaurants and activities are a bit of a walk. Laundry costs $3 per load, and you need quarters.

Breakfast was delicious, there was ample parking, and it was great to have outdoor space to take the dogs out, with doggie bags and clean trash cans provided. I also appreciated the quality hand soap instead of the usual cleansing bar. The room was spotless, and even the freezer worked perfectly, a small thing that mattered a lot. They put us on the first floor, which made things easier with our dogs and baby. We were comfortable from start to finish. La Quinta felt clean and welcoming, and it was a fantastic stay.
