This place is in a really convenient spot for me when I’m in town, and the price works for what I need. But I expect the basics if I come back. The room looked good at first, then I took off my socks and walked to the bathroom and they came away filthy. Please mop the floors. There was also a hole in the bathroom door that looked like someone had punched it. That needs fixing too.

We stayed in room 115 for almost two weeks after moving here from up north. The staff made it a good experience: the Front Desk staff were accommodating, Housekeeping were friendly, and we weren’t woken up at night. My husband and I found the room clean, with fresh towels and sheets. I’ve worked in hospitality since I was 18, including at four and five star and diamond resorts, so I know the rooms aren’t at that level. The staff, though, were. No complaints.

We needed somewhere for one night with our pets, and we made it through, but I felt unsafe the whole time and could hardly sleep. The area was frightening, with backpackers and people wandering around. Next door at the Rodeway Inn, I saw what looked like drug deals and women working as prostitutes, and the police showed up. I worried someone would do something to our cars. Our room smelled of smoke and was dirty, with urine on the toilet and bathroom wall. The other good reviews don’t match what we experienced. The same awful problems people complained about years ago seem to still be there, and the owner doesn’t seem to care. We won’t return.

The woman at the front desk was nice, but the key cards wouldn’t scan properly to open our doors, which slowed things down. The rooms had a musty smell and were dirty, with dirty walls, a headboard pulling away from the wall, a missing bathroom light cover, and a hole partway through the bathroom door. The bedspreads had burn holes all over them despite the rooms being labeled non-smoking. The price wasn’t that good either, especially with no breakfast.
