The location beside everything is the only good thing I can say. The room had a drooping countertop, no mini fridge or microwave, and a 1990s TV with blown speakers. A light in the corner sat on a demolished concrete base with debris around it, and the blinds were barely hanging on. The bed looked nice but the springs were shot and sounded like crushing a bag of chips. The tub wasn't clean, its faucet stuck about a foot out of the wall, and open pipes came through the wall. There was only cold water. Outside the door, white maggots were crawling around, and it smelled like weed all day. The pool was empty, abandoned cars sat on flat tires in the parking lot, and the fire hose stations were vacant. Hope there's no fire. After check-in, room #120 was trashed, with junk everywhere and a door that looked like it had been run over by a truck. I moved to a third-floor room, where the stairs had caution tape and cigarette butts everywhere. Another stairway had wet concrete with nails sticking out. Honestly, this is the worst hotel experience you'll ever have. Travelodge/DaysInn needs to condemn this place.

The smell was horrible, and the rooms were in very poor shape. The stairs were falling apart, and there were no fire extinguishers on the hallway walls. Homeless people were sleeping on the sidewalk on the first floor, outside the rooms. The whole place felt extremely sketchy, and safety was our biggest concern. Why is this hotel even open? They seem not to care about it at all.

The room was clean, breakfast was served until 10, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again and recommend it to friends.

We finally left after housekeeping kept knocking at 7:15am, even though I said we'd be there until checkout at 11. It was 4:30am when the front desk person came to our second room with a third room key, banging on the door. I'd had enough of changing rooms and said we weren't moving again. Before that, we'd been moved twice. The second room was cleaner, but the fire alarm kept beeping, the TV had no power cord, and there were no towels, washcloths, soap, cups, or coffee pot. When we called the front desk again, they said for the third time that they were moving us. The first room had trash all over the floor and no power at all. Electrical fixtures had been pulled out of the walls and ceiling. We called to explain and ask for our money back so we could go elsewhere. My boyfriend was hung up on, then his number was blocked. We went to the desk and explained it a second time, but the person ignored us and our refund request, then just gave us another room number and key. We were also double charged before we even got into a room.

The woman at the front desk was really sweet and understanding, but the rooms were below par. In the second room, the cat urine smell was so strong we could barely breathe, so we asked to move again. The first room was clean, but there was no shower curtain, and we thought the shower head was faulty. It turned out it wasn't, but we still asked for another room. In the third, the sheets had set-in stains, ash streaks, and burn marks. I'd go to another hotel in the little cluster this place is part of.
