The front desk worker made me uncomfortable. He tried to come into my room early each morning, then called after I told him to go away. Later, after we switched rooms, he got angry and said we had to leave. It seemed to be because he couldn't come in and watch me sleep.

I asked the owner whether the rooms were clean and in good shape when I tried to check in. He returned my money and refused to rent me a room over the question. I’d stay away from this place.

The area felt a little scary at night, but the man at the front desk was so kind and shared lots of tips about visiting Yosemite national park. If it's your first trip there, this hotel could work well. Yosemite is less than three hours away.

The area was really quiet, and the A/C handled the end-of-June heat, which was over 100°. The room felt a bit dated, though the restroom had been fully updated and the water pressure was great. Staff were super nice. I had a great stay and would come back.

A nice spot for getting away, and the room was clean. Even though it was a smoking room, it surprisingly didn't smell like cigarettes. The lighting was a little dim, and I wish there were a separate chair from the desk so guests could feel more at home. Thanks for a nice stay.
