Executive Inn

I asked for one king bed but got two, and I hope I wasn’t charged for the extra bed we didn’t want. The website listed $65, yet I was charged $75 a night. The deposit was supposed to be $50, but she took $60 because she apparently didn’t want to go get change. The staff seemed lazy, and the rooms were only half clean.

I’ve stayed here three times, once in November 2023 and twice in early 2025. The room is decent for the price, and the people I dealt with seemed honest and straightforward. One was a friendly, can-do guy who I think said his name was Harry. The last time, I think the woman’s name was Susan or Suzanne. I had short chats with them each visit, and they were pleasant and positive. I miss that kind of attitude from people, workers, and staff on that side of America.

You get what you pay for, I guess. The room was really hot because the air conditioning barely worked, and a loud train went by the hotel all night. Each bed had only two tiny, flat pillows, and there were just two little towels for the whole room.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the parking lot has plenty of light and cameras for nighttime safety. I took a new job in Mojave and needed a room for the week, so I checked prices, rooms, and safety at every hotel in town. Lots of crime prone people come out at night, so you have to be careful. This place is three blocks from the tracks, and the train noise is manageable. The rooms have 90s era construction, but they’re good for the price. Other hotels around here look like a warzone. I’d recommend this as the best value in the area, away from the tracks.
