Holiday Inn Express & Suites Center Township

I travel a lot and usually don’t fuss over hotels, but I decided not to stay here again. The desk chairs were probably the most uncomfortable ones I’ve sat in, and while the rooms were somewhat clean, I found a few hairs on the bathroom floor. The bedding and other items did seem changed and in good condition. On my second stay, breakfast was nearly gone by about 9:05. They brought out a few things, but only after I asked. The first time, my room was 55 degrees, and it took an hour and a half to reach 70. I had to sit in the lobby for about 30 minutes before the room was bearable. The hotel didn’t seem busy, so I was surprised the desk attendant didn’t offer another room. After a long day, that was pretty annoying. I usually like staying at holiday and suites, but this one fell short on customer service.

I’ve stayed here four or five times over the past year and kept coming back because the rooms, common areas, and staff had been clean and impressive. That changed on this visit. I checked in on 12.12.25 for three days, and it took nearly an hour of cleaning before I felt somewhat comfortable. Even then, it wasn’t close to the standard I’d experienced before. The bathroom was disgusting, there was a thick film on the mirrors and windows, and stains covered the chair and most shared surfaces. I cleaned those myself. I got only two towels for three nights, and one is being used to fill the 1 1/2-inch gap under the door. By the time I leave Monday morning, the room should be cleaner than it was when I arrived. I won’t stay here again.

We found a very clean, welcoming place to stay a week before Christmas, and the staff and amenities exceeded what we expected. My husband and I had a wonderful visit. We’d happily stay here again, and I highly recommend it.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and I had no major problems during my visit. The room was clean, though it could use some maintenance updates. This is an older hotel that’s been kept up fairly well. My one real complaint was the shower’s very weak water pressure.
