We stayed in Sex & the City and loved the room, especially the living space and Movie Room. The Inn’s decor is fantastic, and the whole place is peaceful and relaxing. It’s close to Monkey Island activities, including Shangra La Golf Course, and the owners were extremely helpful and responsive. Everything went smoothly. This was our first time on Monkey Island, but we’re already planning another stay. We’ll definitely be back. If you’re staying on or near the island, I highly recommend the Funky Monkey Inn. The owners are the absolute best.

The Funky Monkey Inn is an easy place to check into, with amazing customer service. Each room has its own theme, and ours had a super comfortable bed, a private bathroom, and great WiFi. There’s also a full kitchen, plus a movie theater and game room downstairs. It’s a short drive to Shangri-La Resort, nearby golf courses, and even the local airport. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Monkey Island or Grand Lake, OK. Definitely worth checking out!

I stayed in the law and order room at The Finley Monkey, and the bed was really comfortable. There was plenty of space for one person, and the shower had great water pressure. The place was very clean, the owners quick to respond, and it’s about a mile from golf at Shangri-La resort. If you’re in the area and want something other than a standard hotel, I’d recommend it. I’m planning to stay there again next year.

We had a lovely weekend here and I’m checking out today already wishing I could stay longer. The Easy Rider room had a very comfy bed, and I loved the art and decor throughout the house. The shared spaces and rooms are extremely comfortable, and the whole place is beautiful and funky. The owners were friendly and attentive. It’d be a great place for a group gathering too. We’ll be back!

The Innkeeper is spot-on with communication, and there’s plenty to do on Monkey Island. The Funky Monkey feels so comfortable, almost like home. It’s fun around every corner, but there’s also a peaceful calm to it. Staying here is a little slice of pure joy.
