We booked four or five rooms for our family’s two-night stay at the Wyndham American Inn, Monroe WI, while celebrating my father’s life. Our family likes to sing together, so the younger kids swam while us older “kids” played guitars and sang in the pool room. The rooms were clean and well stocked, the breakfasts were great, and the staff were friendly. When I was finishing my picture boards, the front desk even lent me tape. Diane, who leads the cleaning staff, was very sweet. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and stay! 😁

We were there for a wedding, and our room next to the laundry turned out to be handy. I could put the tablecloths in the dryer. The breakfast was great and kept nice and clean, and the staff were friendly.

We’d stay again if we were in the area. The staff were kind and helpful, and the room, pool, and hot tub were clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel felt child-friendly. The only drawback was that the one-bedroom king suite we booked had no door or divider between the bedroom and the pullout couch sleeping area. A bit more separation would’ve been nice.

If you have a disability, don’t stay here. They may put you on the second floor, and there’s no elevator. I couldn’t use the stairs and felt helpless in my room upstairs. The staff member seemed unwilling to help or care, saying, “it says this on the website in small print”.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the public areas were clean and well kept. Breakfast was fantastic, with more brought out until 9am. The biscuits and gravy took me back to Georgia. My only complaint about the room was the shower. Its spray spread too wide, and the pressure was so weak I couldn’t rinse my legs and feet. They should replace the showerheads with handheld ones, room by room, so nobody else has reason to rate this place below the five stars it deserves.
