We arrived late on a Saturday night, and the staff were attentive and helpful. Fairfield by Marriott - Monroe is one of the nicest hotels in the area. Our room was a little dated but still very nice and clean, and the bathrooms look recently renovated. Breakfast was standard, with lots of choices. We'll definitely return.

The room was comfortable and very clean, and service at both the desk and breakfast area was friendly and efficient. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.

We were freezing all night. The room already felt chilly when we walked in, but I turned the heater all the way up to high heat and on anyway. We went to bed at 11 PM before a six-hour drive to JAX, then I woke at 5 AM with my teeth chattering. My CPAP was sending cold air into my respiratory system because the room was so cold, and now I'm congested. Ugggh! I called the desk and spoke to Mark, who wrote down the complaint and told me to speak with the manager on duty. I called Mark again, and he brought extra blankets and saw for himself how cold it was. At 5:49, we were still freezing, so I'm making coffee and putting on a sweater. A fireplace wasn't on the menu, apparently. This will never happen again. If I don't feel heat, I'm not going to sleep! 🥶😩

The hotel was spectacularly clean, with friendly staff and a great breakfast. I'd definitely recommend staying here when you're in town.
